The Laalaa is about the least described of the linguistic community called "Cangin". Cangin was classified, according to [...] Joseph Greenberg (1970) as belonging to the West Atlantic branch of Niger-Congo of congo-kordofanian family (SIL 1993). The Laalaa is most often likened to Noon. Indeed, they have a common lexicon estimated at 86% (cf. D'Alton, P. 1987: p. 19).
The objective of this study is, through the presentation of the morphology of the nominal classification and the pronominal system of Laalaa, to put particular emphasis on interactions between these two systems. [....]
